Salem hockey teams successfully on the road at the end of the field season
by Julian Priebus, sports teacher
At the end of the field season, the Salem hockey teams were on the road again on the last weekend before the holidays and played matches in Konstanz and Offenburg.

The male U16 and U18 teams met the hosts and Markdorf in Constance. Both Salem teams played very confidently and as a well-rehearsed unit, despite the fact that the teams have only been together since the beginning of the school year and have been joined by many new players. The games were won 8:2 and 6:0.

The girls' U18 team played their last matchday in the small field round of the Landesverband in Offenburg. With a new line-up, they improved from game to game and were able to celebrate a win against the hosts in the end.

The U16 women's team played their first game in Konstanz during the week and showed great motivation and commitment. Despite the narrow defeat, the players and coach were proud and satisfied.

After this successful end to the outdoor season, everyone is now looking forward to the indoor season, which will include various tournaments and matches. The biggest highlight will be next spring, when the new artificial hockey pitch at Härlen will be inaugurated and all the teams will be able to play their home games there.
