Salem & its Foundation Partners

Also a strong community

ArbeiterKind.de

ArbeiterKind.de encourages students from families without university experience to be the first in their family to study. 6,000 volunteers are involved in 75 local ArbeiterKind.de groups nationwide to inform students about the possibility of studying and to support them on their way to high school graduation and beyond. The volunteers are for the most part students themselves or first-generation academics. They report on their educational advancement from their own experience and provide encouragement as personal role models.
