Salem Guilds

Unleash your Craftsmanship and Creativity

The Salem Guilds stand for hands-on learning, creative expression and genuine teamwork. Traditionally they have been a key part of Schule Schloss Salem’s educational philosophy. They offer students a unique opportunity to explore and develop a wide range of practical and artistic skills in an inspiring environment.

What are the Salem Guilds?

Learning with Head, Heart and Hands

The Salem Guilds are far more than just extracurricular clubs – they are a living tradition and at the same time a modern approach to education. They allow students to engage in a variety of crafts and discover their own creativity. For students in grades 7 and 8, taking part in a guild is compulsory – and marks an important step in their personal development.

The focus lies not only on learning techniques, but also on building independence, perseverance and the ability to work as part of a team. The Salem Guilds are places where talent is discovered and nurtured – through practical experience and with real passion.
