Salem and its funding partners
The START Foundation supports talented and committed youth with a migration background. Salem offers them the opportunity to apply for a scholarship.
Talented children from Berlin or the eastern states of Germany are awarded Beck Foundation scholarships that enable them to attend Salem. The foundation was set up by Hanno Beck, a Salem alumni, to support the Kurt Hahn Foundation and other German organizations. Now administered by his nephew, Dr. Clemens Beck and his wife, Claudia, the foundation is dedicated to promoting education and encouraging talented youth. Salem's Middle School library was renovated and expanded through the generous support of the Beck Foundation.
The Elisabeth Meurer Foundation provides support to students who have been accepted to study at the world-renown Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).
The Friends of Salem association supports projects that cannot be financed through the regular school budget but offer significant educational benefit to students in the present and future.

The Henning Winter Foundation sponsors projects and investments in the areas of music, art and theater at Schule Schloss Salem.
The Kurt-Hahn-Foundation fosters education and instruction at Schule Schloss Salem – above all by enabling talented and high-performing children and young adults to attend Schule Schloss Salem regardless of their parents' income.

The Perspectives Association's members actively work to support disadvantaged children, youth, and young adults in and around St. Petersburg, Russia, in order to give them a viable future.

The Margret Boveri Foundation for Research in Democracy, together with the University of Würzburg, supports, among other things, students from developing countries (especially Africa) who take up studies in the social sciences.

The non-profit Wolfgang Dürr Foundation has been promoting projects for environmental and climate protection, children, education and health in the spirit of its founder, Mr. Wolfgang Dürr.
The foundation supports two Salem students with partial scholarships and thus enables them to attend school at Schule Schloss Salem.
