Outdoor Club: between waterfall and mountain restaurant
by Gabino Robledo Espinoza de los Monteros, 9D1
The Outdoor Club took a hike on the Ebenalp on its first tour this school year and enjoyed some spectacular views.

On an autumnal weekend in 2022, we prepared for a challenging hike with the Outdoor Club. After a two-hour drive, our expedition began. We started climbing, enjoying incredible views: orange trees and mountains in the distance full of snow.

After a long climb, we came across a mountain above us and we saw a waterfall. There we took a break, had a snack and recharged our batteries.

We continued the hike and the view just got better and better. Finally, we reached the summit cross, which was situated next to a Swiss flag. We could see some incredible mountains and also Lake Constance. We rested for a while, filled up our water bottles, had a snack and enjoyed the beautiful view.

On the way back, we saw a restaurant built into a mountain - a very nice place indeed.

From there we walked on and found first a small temple and then a wooden hut with a lot of information about animals, but particularly about bears. It was in a bear cave where we experienced a big change in temperature, we went from being hot to being very cold.

After descending, we drove back and the blue sky turned pink. It was truly incredible and an experience we will remember for a long time.
