Impressive IB 2025 results: Salem students once again outperform the global average
We are proud of this year's results of the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IB DP) at Schule Schloss Salem - a programme that is recognised worldwide for its rigorous academic standards and international appeal.
Salem above the global average
While the global pass rate for the IB DP in May 2025 was 81.3%, 96% of our IB students successfully obtained the coveted diploma. But it is not only the pass rate that sets Salem apart: the difference is also clearly evident in the individual performances.
- Global average score: 30
- Salem average score: 33
A total of 17 students achieved 35 points or more, and six students scores of 40 and above - a sign of a high level of commitment, self-discipline and academic maturity.
These figures speak for themselves: our students not only demonstrate individual excellence, but also an impressively strong team performance.
And what happens next?
The future prospects of our IB graduates are just as impressive as the results themselves. Many have received offers from renowned universities in Germany and abroad. The fields of study are as diverse as our students themselves - from natural sciences and technology to economics, politics and social sciences through to art and design.
Thanks to the community
These results are not just a credit to individual talent. They reflect the strength of our school community: the commitment of our teachers, the support of the boarding school teams, the trust of the families - and not least the mutual motivation of the students among themselves.
Congratulations to all our graduates!
