The Schule Schloss Salem Benefactor Wall
A sign of our deep appreciation
The donor wall of Schule Schloss Salem and the Kurt Hahn Foundation symbolises our sincere thanks and the strong community that supports our school. It honours the generosity of those who, through their commitment, open doors for talented children to join our school and who provide targeted support for specific projects – actively contributing to Salem’s ongoing development.
By donating, you give children from diverse social and cultural backgrounds the opportunity to access an outstanding education. Your contribution not only strengthens our scholarship programme but also helps sustain Salem as an international place of learning and living – where responsibility, diversity and personal growth are at the core.
We are proud to visibly recognise our benefactors – and to inscribe their names into the history of Schule Schloss Salem. Together, we are shaping education for the future – and for that, we thank you most sincerely.
How to join the Benefactor Wall
Inclusion on the benefactor Wall is subject to the following criteria:
- Recognition is given to individuals, foundations and organisations who have made a particularly significant contribution to the scholarship programme, or who have played a key role in supporting major school projects.
- Donations may be directed either towards scholarships or to specific projects.
- The Benefactor Wall is divided into four categories, distinguished by the size of the name inscription:
- Category 1: €10,000 – €24,999
- Category 2: €25,000 – €49,999
- Category 3: €50,000 – €99,999
- Category 4: €100,000 and above
- Before a name is inscibed on the wall, each donor is contacted personally to obtain consent for public recognition.
- Names remain visible on the Benefactor Wall for a period of five years. With each subsequent donation, this period is extended accordingly.
- A special arrangement applies to parents of current students: their names will appear on the Benefactor Wall once their youngest child has left the school, in order to protect the privacy of the children. In these cases, the total cumulative donation made throughout the child(ren)’s time at Salem is taken into account.
