After Birklehof had already organised a similar meeting around a year ago, we were the hosts this time: eight pupils each from Birklehof and Landheim Ammersee visited us at the beginning of March.
On Saturday evening we welcomed our guests with a delicious dinner in Spetzgart, followed by an official welcome on the Härlen campus, which was also attended by our Head Master Henrik Fass and Dr Mathias Schwarz, Head of Boarding at College. We then put our general knowledge to the test in the quiz that followed. The day ended with a phenomenal club house evening, where the whole sixth form and our guests celebrated in style. The Birklehof and Landheim Amersee students spent the night in the gym together with a few students from College.
Sunday started with brunch in Spetzgart before driving to Salem. There our guests were given a guided tour of the grounds by the ‚G6‘, the highest office holders in Salem. In the afternoon, our school hockey team played against the team from Birklehof and won the match. After the game, we travelled back to Spetzgart. After a round of ice-cold swimming in the harbour, we spent the evening working in small groups on the topic: ‚How is student co-responsibility implemented at the different schools and what can we learn from each other?‘ On Monday morning, we sat down together again to discuss this topic, then had a hearty breakfast before saying goodbye to our guests.
